The world of the user experience fascinates me and this motivates me to be better every day.
In Sopra Steria, depending on the project, we adapt different processes: Fast prototyping or the End to End Methodology.
In the Fast prototyping process I have done: Research and co-creation, wireframing to validate the user experience (lowfi, midfi or hifi), then prepare the visual design and finally polish details to have the final proposal with the final design. This process is so fast, so there is no time to prepare a navigable prototype, but that also depends on the project and the time. After having the final visual design, I make the improvements that must be made and prepare the assets in Zeplin for the developers.
In the End to End methodology, we have more time to deepen to each stage and the most important thing is that throughout this process we iterate to be able to define the functionalities well and, of course, achieve a better solution. The stages that define this process are:
- User insights: We do interviews with users or related persons to discover their needs.
- Personas: We define Personas / Proto-personas and their dimensions.
- Design scope: We validate the challenge and the requirements.
- Ideation: We define the idea and everything related.
- Service concept: We define user journeys and the scenario.
- Prototyping: We create the wireframes (lowfi, midfi, hifi).
- Visual design: We design the final solution.
- Validation: We perform the guerrilla test or formal test with users for the final validation of UX / UI.
Each of these stages allows us to learn more about the project and also grow professionally. Of course, all this I do not do it alone. I have a wonderful team with whom I learn every day and it makes me very happy. Thank you guys!
